The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Project is widely recognized as the most comprehensive longitudinal study of entrepreneurship in the world.  It offers a portrait of the individual entrepreneur and allows for a more detailed demographic breakdown of how factors like age, education and gender play a role in entrepreneurial activity.

The presentation will review the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) report on entrepreneurship in Canada. GEM is the largest study of entrepreneurship in the world, and this is the thirteenth annual report on Canada.
